AFA Protective Systems, Inc., an established fire alarm, security, installation and monitoring company, is searching for a motivated individual who is looking for a career in Business Marketing as a Marketing and Sales Coordinator working directly for the Vice President of Marketing in our Syosset, NY office.Position Summary:The marketing and sales coordinator is responsible for receiving marketing generated sales leads from various channels and distributing sales traffic to our sales branches. The marketing coordinator plays a large role in the assessment of all marketing efforts including the evaluation of the organizations return on investment.The marketing and sales coordinator will work alongside the VP of marketing as well as numerous marketing vendors to coordinate all promotions for the company. The Marketing and Sales coordinator will be the main creative producer, responsible for overseeing the creation of all marketing material. Duties Include:Oversees the receipt and distribution of inbound leads from various marketing channels by coordinating with each Branch Manager throughout the United States.Works closely with the VP on many different marketing projects: including brochures, social media content, email blasts, newsletters, case studies, etc.Responsible for all social media output including the creation and posting to social media outletsTasked with organizing marketing budget and assessing the marketings return on investment by calculating monthly sales totals earned from all marketing channels.Will organize and track all marketing leads.Stays in contact with various publishing magazines to organize public relations efforts utilizing marketing content.Participate in weekly conference calls or meetings with VP of Marketing and AFA vendors.Skills and QualificationsUndergraduate degree from a 4-year UniversityExceptional oral and written communication skillsExcellent use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPointKnowledge of Indesign and Photoshop software preferredHours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM (35 hours)
