Job Description WRGB CBS6 has an exciting opportunity for Sports Director.
You will lead our sports coverage on-air and on-line.
We want someone that can create memorable stories that appeal to sports and non-sports fans.
You must have a passion for going beyond scores & highlights and telling real stories.
Skills and Experience:
· Strong leader with an amazing work ethic, and time management skills
· Dynamic live television and storytelling skills are a must
· Must be able to shoot, write and edit while working under deadline pressure A self-starter who can generate his or her own story ideas on a daily basis Ability to demonstrate enterprise sports reporting and creativity in storytelling Exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to maintain an active social media presence to build brand and solicit original story ideas Previous sports experience a must
