iptiQ is looking for a Product Manager (Technology) to add depth to our insurance business.
The role centers around developing technology solutions to help us improve the way we target and contact customers.
Initially, the majority of the role will be helping us to develop and launch a state-of-the-art agent campaign platform backed by a custom data science platform.
The platform was developed in-house and successfully piloted.
We are now building version 2.0 which is being developed with substantial scale in mind.
You would manage this next development phase as well as launch and scale the product.
Post-launch the role will involve creating additional functionality for this tool and ensuring that the technology is working smoothly.
The remaining time in your role, you will be helping us to develop other technology solutions we need to stand up individual projects in the lead generation, marketing and sales space.
Some solutions may be developed for the Salesforce app exchange.
All of the products you will manage will be deployed in live sales environments.
Experience with fast-paced dynamic sales environments and the tools used by sales agents will be a big plus.
Most products will involve core components based on advanced data science.
An understanding of data science concepts and opportunities to apply them is needed.
Experience managing internal/external data scientists as part of project teams will be a big plus.
As part of this role, you will: Coordinate a cross-functional team of external and internal developers, data scientists and engineers in the development and support of new sales solutions.
Identify and bring in high quality external development/data resources as needed.
Own all aspects of product development, user journeys and product strategy.
Develop KPIs and metrics to enable strategic decisions about what functionality to build.
Gather and generate requirements for product evolution based on market analysis and end user (or internal team) interactions.
Be an operational technical lead in communicating project readiness.
Identify, prioritize and manage key challenges and risks of a given product.
Communicate technical components of the development process to non-technical stakeholders and external audiences.
Serve as a bridge between the various stakeholders.
The Product Manager role will report directly to the Distribution Tech Lead About You 5 years of product management experience and a passion for developing unique tech solutions and platforms that have at their core data processing functionality.
Understanding of Data Science / Machine Learning methodologies and steps involved in building successful data projects.
Hands on coding ability a plus.
Hand on experience working with data and deploying data solutions based on machine learning a plus.
Experience developing products for human-human sales environments and the technologies used by sales agents e.g.
Salesforce, Twillio, five9 etc.
Ability to manage project tasks from multiple business stakeholders and varying priorities.
Maintain transparent communication on priority and backlog status.
Experience with deploying solutions on Microsoft Azure.
Experience with Salesforce a plus.
Project experience leading cross-functional, technical teams.
Highly analytical, using data to make decisions and comfortable gathering it yourself.
Results oriented.
You can cut to the core of a problem, identify what needs to be done and work with the teams to get products launched.
Hands on ability to work with data a plus.
Ability to clearly and effectively communicate and maintain relationships with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders and partners.
