Full time- 36 hours/Week- DAY SHIFT 

 

We are currently seekingfull-time experienced Critical Care nurses to join our team at Baylor Scott& White Medical Center Temple.  We are a 630-bed specialty careteaching hospital and the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas andAustin.

We are looking for RNsto work in one of our Critical Care Units (CCU) or Intensive Care Units(ICU). 

The Registered Nurse(RN) exhibits and executes Baylor Scott & White Health�s (BSWH) Values& Behaviors in delivering and coordinating patient care. Utilizing the BSWHnursing professional practice model, the RN is a licensed professional who isresponsible for using clinical reasoning, developing, implementing andevaluating the nursing plan of care, managing both emotional and physicalpatients, assessing patient and family level of understanding to provideeffective communication and education, working collaboratively with medicalstaff and providing quality care in a compassionate and professionalmanner. 

 

Our Critical Care Unit(CCU) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU) RNs work around the clock to deliver thebest care to our most critically ill patients and their families. Patients in the CCU/ICU require constant care and monitoring by medicalstaff.  Our CCU/ICU RNs must be trained and educated to work with a widevariety of patient diagnoses and must be able to cope with the emotional aspectof working with these types of patients.

 

Ideal prospectiveCCU/ICU candidates must be able to work successfully in a fast pacedenvironment, utilize quick critical thinking skills, act as a strong patientadvocate and have at least 6 months of critical care experience.

 

10 K sign on for newassociates having a BSN and 2 or more years RN experience in Critical CareICU

�  Associate�s Degree in Nursing (ADN) required

�  RN license required

�  Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

�   2 Years of RN experience required
