What You Will Do
At Ascension Living’s Our Lady of Peace, you will find meaningful careers, great residents, outstanding teams, a collaborative atmosphere, and plenty of room to make your mark. This is a a Per Diem position. Shifts are typically 12.5 hours long from 6:00am to 7:00pm or 6:00pm to 7:00am, but we have several scheduling options available right now! As an RN Registered Nurse – Senior Care for Our Lady of Peace, you will perform basic, but critical patient care activities appropriate to the patient population. Your primary responsibility is to be responsible for the delivery of resident care through the process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation under the direction and supervision of the Unit Manager. You will be lead and mentored by highly-collaborative Nurse Managers who will also invest in your career growth and development. You must be willing to work a flexible schedule, that may include weekends and/or holidays, in order to facilitate the implementation of care plans for our residents.
What You Will Need
Required
- NYS License as a Registered Nurse (REQUIRED)
- CPR Certification PREFERRED for Assisted Living; REQUIRED for LTC upon hire or obtained within thirty (30) days of employment
Preferred
- Completion of an Accredited RN Program (PREFERRED)
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as an RN (PREFERRED)
- Supervisory experience (PREFERRED)
- Possesses working knowledge of State and Federal regulations (PREFERRED)
