Description: Lockheed Martin is looking for an experienced Electrical / Hardware Design Subject Matter Expert within the EW (Electronic Warfare) Hardware / Products organization in Owego, NY.
The successful candidate will have hands on experience with the development of complex EW systems/subsystems (ELINT, Electronic Attack and Electronic Support) in a DoD environment.
This is a senior position that requires a highly motivated individual with demonstrated exemplary communication skills as a key interface to the RMS Airborne EW PM as well as senior customer and LM executives.
This role will be expected to perform the following duties for the RMS Airborne EW Organization:
• Develop hardware architecture of specialized RF and EW Applications and serve as a focal point for the development and communication of this architecture
• Define and lead strategic technical roadmap (direction) and associated IRAD investment for the organization in pursuit of key business capture
• Support proposal capture and development activities
• Support internal and external design reviews Lockheed Martin Owego provides Electronic Warfare Systems Engineering expertise for a wide variety of airborne platforms used by the Department of Defense and International military customers.
The Owego campus has over 45 years supporting EW development with over 3000 systems developed and fielded Worldwide.
Owego, New York is located about 200 miles northwest of New York City and about 75 miles south of Syracuse, New York.
Owego sits just north of the border with Pennsylvania and is part of what’s known as the “Southern Tier” section of New York State.
The region is home to Binghamton University and Cornell University.

Basic Qualifications:
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Strong Leadership experience with diverse teams
• Experience with designing / developing / integrating EW systems
• Experienced in development of state-of-the-art RF Millimeter and Microwave circuit design for communications and electronic warfare systems
• Strong partnership experience with manufacturing and operations
• Active Secret clearance Desired Skills:
• Experience with laboratory work/testing and with analog, RF, and digital hardware, including practical experience with network analyzers, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.
• Experience with ADS, HFSS, Sonnet, Microwave Office, MATLAB, Spice
• Experience with Space & Missile Applications
• Experience with designing/developing / integrating COMINT systems
