Description:This is an entry level position in the aviation field. Team member will function as a Hangar Access Control Attendant and will be responsible for the tool control, FOD control, and access control tasks as detailed in the DCMA INST. 8210 and the Sikorsky Ground Operations Safety Manual. Position requires the ability to obtain a security clearance as required. (Minimum Secret Clearance).
The Hangar Access Control Attendant is also responsible for the following tasks:
– Monitor aircraft for entry and log items on and off the aircraft control book.
– Perform end of shift safety and security checks
– Periodic maintenance inspections on aviation ground support equipment
– Perform fueling operations and inspection on the site’s fuel farm
– Perform clerical tasks such as: Update manuals, keep door access listing current, close out maintenance forms, log hardware on and off aircraft.
– General cleaning to include operating a floor scrubber and flight line sweeper.
– Overtime, Weekends, Second Shift and working outside in adverse weather required.

Basic Qualifications:
To be qualified to interview for this role, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:

– Must have the ability to obtain Yankee White Special Access is required to perform the duties of this position. Interim Secret Clearance is required to start.
– Must be able to work multiple shifts and weekends in support of the program.
– Must be proficient in Microsoft EXCEL
– Basic Computer Skills Required. (Outlook, Word, Power Point)
– Position requires ability to lift 40lbs
– Must be able to become compressed gas qualified
– Must be able to become qualified and perform periodic maintenance on the heliport fuel farm (Jet fuels and other aircraft chemicals)
– Must be able to identify hand tools, possess attention to detail, interface with aircraft technicians, and reliably report problems to maintenance control
– Will be required to manage ground support equipment for aircraft and conduct periodic forklift qualified

PLEASE NOTE:
Applicants selected must be able to successfully pass to a background investigation and drug test.
Additionally, any roles requiring Department of Defense Security Clearances will require US Citizenship.
Desired Skills:
Preferably, you should also have these desired skills:

– Aviation background highly desired
– Prior Tool Crib operator experience desired
– Manufacturing or Tooling experience / familiarization desired
