The Orthopaedic Institute at Northwell Health , an extensive network of high caliber specialists and a nationally recognized center of orthopaedic excellence, is expanding rapidly and seeking fellowship trained, board eligible/certified hand and upper extremity surgeons in the following locations:
– Nassau County
– Hand
– Suffolk County-Upper Extremity
– Greenwich Village, New York City -Hand The candidate would be a member of a multidisciplinary and highly specialized orthopaedic group at each site and provide expert clinical care to all patients referred to the respective practices.
The hand surgeon should be comfortable treating the full range of hand and wrist conditions: bony, soft tissue, acute and chronic, and have expertise in microsurgery, arthroscopy, reconstruction, and trauma.
The upper extremity surgeon should also have expertise in treating conditions of the shoulder and elbow.
� As a full-time member of Northwell Health (which includes four separate ACGME accredited Orthopaedic Residency Programs), the candidate would be eligible for academic appointment to the faculty of Zucker Hofstra/Northwell School of Medicine and expected to participate in orthopaedic program development, education, and research.
