OverviewThis position is responsible for the supervision of all functions related to the accurate and timely planning, scheduling and compliance of all airframe and engine maintenance requirements. To provide guidance for all Maintenance Planning activities and day-to-day operations. To identify and take an active role in continuous process improvement initiatives not only within planning but within the entire Technical Operations organization. To champion and promote all strategic and tactical decisions made by the Director and department managers. To foster the continued relationships with other departments in an effort to bring reach our overall cooperate goals.Responsibilities* Continually analyzes current processes and procedures to identify shortfalls and propose improvements.* Executes the tracking, planning and scheduling of all the Maintenance Inspection Programs tasks.* Performs the planning and scheduling of all approved engineering and maintenance documents, including but not limited to Engineering Orders, Planning Action Requests, Fleet Campaign Directives, Action Plans, and Engine Condition Monitoring.* Executes action items generated from Maintenance Program Changes.* Is responsible for the execution all Maintenance Event Planning related functions* Coordinate the scheduling of routine (Letter check and Time limited Work), non-routine, and modifications with the maintenance and materials departments.* Plans and coordinate scheduled engine changes as it relates to ground time, man-power, and materials.* Coordinates with Maintenance Workload Planning & Maintenance Control on short term items in securing ground time and man-power.* Generates and plans in accordance with aircraft and engine utilization reports* Creates Trax Work Orders and the associated Maintenance Service Packages for Maintenance* Processes the review and closing of Trax Work Orders, thus updating Trax maintenance task compliance.* Reviews completed work packages for accountability and sign-off requirements. Forwards reviewed packages to Manager of Aircraft Records.* Review and audit the Maintenance Due Reports for accuracy and accountability* Perform Air Worthy Directives review for synchronization.* Review Part Number Controls for completeness.* Account for Time Limited Work items falling out of letter checks.* Assists with new hire training* Performs additional tasks as assigned by the Senior Manager and Director of Maintenance Planning.QualificationsQualifications:* Working knowledge of maintenance programs and maintenance program control.* FAA Airframe and Power plant License desirable.* 2 years of experience in aircraft service planning* Knowledge of aircraft records requirements and procedures.* Working knowledge of Federal Air Regulations desirable.* Good written and verbal communication skills required.* Ability to work with all levels of management and contract vendors required.* Good computer skills required.* Trax experience preferred.* Availability and flexibility to travel domestically and internationally.Special demands:* 10% TravelThe Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
