An award-winning teaching hospital located in upstate New York is currently searching for an experienced Cardiovascular Imaging Registered Nurse RN to join their accredited healthcare team.

The Cardiovascular Imaging Registered Nurse RN will work within a hospital that provides advanced treatment such as open-heart surgery, specialized cancer treatments, trauma care, vascular care, neurosurgery, as well as orthopedic and spinal care. The Cardiovascular Imaging RN will join an advanced multi-disciplinary diagnostic cardiology team that offers a variety of services including cardiac MRI, echocardiograms, stress tests, electrophysiology, and cardiac catheterization. The Cardiovascular Imaging RN will be expected to step into the Charge Nurse role when needed and will be able to educate and precept the nursing staff. The Cardiovascular Imaging RN will also be utilizing equipment such aortic balloon pumps, angiojet, intra vascular ultrasounds, pressure wire, filter wire, temporary pacemakers, and pacemaker interrogation computers.
The Cardiovascular Imaging RN will work under the direction of unit management to provide patient centered care within the diagnostic cardiology service line. The Cardiovascular Imaging RN will function in a Charge Nurse role as needed and will act as a resource for other staff and clinicians within the unit as needed. This position requires a graduation from an accredited nursing program and at least one years of prior nursing experience preferably in the diagnostic cardiology field.
