RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce is working with a growing food & beverages client in Queens, NY that is seeking a Desktop Support Technician. Overview: Our company is household name that is growing despite the current climate, and they are offering remote flexibility. We are seeking a Helpdesk Technician to provide coordination and administrative support to the IT department as it delivers projects, programs and service to various stakeholders. The Desktop Support technician will assist in managing IT projects, budget and resources; candidate will help coordinate project or support related IT tasks, as well as ensure that IT standards and guidelines are closely followed by IT team members. We are offering a superb compensation package including 100% paid for the entire family, a bonus and an Equity. This is a newly created position due to tremendous growth. Responsibilities: Coordinate installation, training, and support Upgrading technology such as computers, peripherals, phones, and printers Support data migration and backup activities User management and distribution list management, including new hires setup and permissions approvals Performs acceptance testing procedures and post-installation reviews to ensure results meet user expectations Basic inventory management, maintain IT software licenses and upgrade schedules Opening, updating and closing support tickets in ticketing system, as well as first level triaging and resolution of support requests Ensure rights management and security comply with company policy; Monitor operating environment to uphold NIST security compliance policies Assist in preparing functional, technical and all other IT relates documentation Assist IT project teams in planning and delivery of projects to the business; Assist in preparing project presentations, meeting agendas and minutes Job Requirements:REQUIREMENTS: BA degree required; Major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering or closely related field is desired 3 years full time experience in providing IT coordination and administrative work; supporting the implementation of information technology projects Reasonable knowledge of Office 365, Laptops.
