As a Software Quality Assurance Analyst you will participate in the SQA activities across all software applications within the organization.
The SQA Analyst is assigned to projects to assist with writing use cases and test plans for various enterprise applications.
The candidate will build and execute test cases, research, record, and analyze defects, and ensure test coverage is complete.
Responsibilities Test projects in accordance with written business and functional design documentation following established standards to ensure quality assurance.
Develop, maintain and execute test cases, ensuring the quality and stability of the system throughout the project.
Ensure satisfactory service with customers at all levels(Business Analyst, Developers, and Project Manager).
Adept in reporting test status on timely basis to Test leadSupervisorProject Manager.
Plan and prioritize tasks to meet overall objectives.
Define functional and non-functional test framework across products.
Assist in the development of associated processes.
Identify and implements process improvement opportunities.
Qualifications Experience writing use cases, test plans and procedures, tracking defects, documenting results and developing test cases and scripts.
Experience with formal Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with solid understanding of testing methodologies.
Experience with SQL databases.
Experience working in agile development environment.
Experience in automation tools UFT preferred, Selenium.
Experience with JIRA.
Technical individual with attention to detail, and analyticalproblem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and individually.
Ability to absorb rapidly new technical information and apply it effectively.
Strong written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
Unix experience required.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields 5 years of QA experience manual and automated testing execution and test case documentation
