They will be expected to develop a vigorous, creative, internationally recognized and externally funded research program, as well as join a program with existing collaborative research and educational efforts involving faculty across campus.

Minimum Qualifications The candidate will have a PhD in Electrical Engineering, as well as research expertise that aligns with departmental strengths in the area of power systems.

Those with research interests in power transmission and distribution, power system protection, utility scale power converters, distributed energy resources, and smart grid data analytics are particularly encouraged to apply.

Preferred QualificationsPhysical Demands Ability to complete essential classroom functions.
