Job Description Reporting to the Executive Vice President(s) of Sales and Marketing, the Pricing and Contracts Business Manager will serve as an integral member of the Sales and Contract Operations team for both the Retail Commercial and Governmental Sales Teams.

The Pricing and Contracts Business Manager is responsible for supporting the Management and Sales teams in the execution and implementation contracting & pricing strategies within their respective markets, as well as supporting everyday customer operations.

General Duties And Responsibilities Contract Administration & Pricing Review customer contracts to ensure requirements are consistent with overall business policies; suggest revisions as necessary.

Propel contracts through approval process, obtaining all necessary legal, financial and management review and signatures in a timely manner.

Maintain customer contracts and pricing, including timely communication and implementation of updates to both internal and external stakeholders Manage and maintain the Company’s pricing system, price sheets and customer and vendor price files.

Transmit Pricing to required partners.

Review, reconcile and submit contractual payments or credits Ensure ongoing company and customer compliance with contract requirements.

Develop and maintain reports to effectively monitor and manage contract performance.

Interact with customers on monthly reports, requests for pricing, and required documentation.

Process and Reconcile Chargebacks File, organize, and maintain vendor and customer contract documents and records.

Sales Support Partner with Sales team to develop and submit responses to customer RFPs and pricing proposals, including preparation of profitability analysis, sales trending data and pricing analysis Track proposal/RFP deadlines and key contract milestones and lifecycles.

Establish and maintain a monthly compliance report of all customer contracts and buying groups to ensure contractual sales obligations are being met Prepare and distribute periodic business reports to external and internal customers Continually monitor sales trends to identify any strategy adjustments to drive additional sales.

Establish system for tracking, and respond to customer requests, including CDAs, ADR letters, Certificates of Insurance, etc.

Customer Service Customer Account Set-Up for Chartwell customers Verify and maintain licenses Load Pricing/Maintain Price Files Process and verify inbound orders (via EDI or manual) Transmit orders to warehouse for processing.

Address customers’ order questions/complaints/pricing disputes Provide customers with verification of order processing and tracking information.

Process customer return requests/proof of destruction Fulfill requests for DSCSA/Serialization data General Support Registration and maintenance of products with all 3rd party compendiums.

Maintenance of all rebate and administrative fee programs, including State Medicaid Perform other duties as assigned to support Management, Sales and Customer Service Personnel Interact with Customers to ensure highest level of customer support, pricing and distribution accuracy are being maintained.

Experience/Qualifications 5 years experience managing generic pharmaceutical contract administration functions, including proposal and contract development, pricing maintenance, rebate maintenance, contract sales reporting and membership maintenance and customer service.

Bachelors degree or 5 years equivalent work experience in Pharmaceutical environment; Preference to candidates with experience supporting the Sales and Marketing organization of a generic pharmaceutical company.

Brand experience is a plus.

Preference to candidates with experience with Government contracts, including FSS, DAPA, CEC and federal government solicitations.

Skills/Knowledge Required : Excellent written and oral communication skills.

5 years experience in financial/analytical roles is required Knowledge of pricing for generic pharmaceutical industry Knowledge of financial processes including chargebacks, rebates and admin fees.

Advanced level Microsoft Excel skills required; Access a plus Experience with QuickBooks; COGNOS systems and IMS data a plus Ability to simultaneously handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

History of self-motivation, sound judgment and excellent interpersonal relations.

Ability to work in a team environment, but also independently with minimum supervision Ability to travel overnight to customer sites and trade events, including internationally, if required (infrequent) PLEASE NOTE:  This position is based in Congers, NY with candidates from the New York Metropolitan area highly preferable.
