We are currently looking for a Supervisor of Associate Systems Engineers to join our team RESPONSIBILITIES Technically assess and supervise approximately 15-20 Associate System Engineers Determine assignments, resource allocation, scheduling, issue resolution and overall performance of each employee Manage, develop, train, and mentor team on projects and assess performance for engagement and year-end reviews Plan career development and technical certifications/skills paths Actively work with the Program Leadership team to set employee expectations, ensure deadlines are met, and lead change efforts effectively Supports the Leadership Team in identifying and mitigating resource issues Ensure compliance with Company and Program’s standards, processes, and guidelines QUALIFICATIONS 5 years’ experience in being a member of a leadership team managing 15 resources Strong technical acumen Strong communication and influencing skills Strong team building and conflict resolution skills Experience in Quality Management and driving quality performance Solid aptitude across Microsoft Office Suite
– especially Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint Strong customer service skills Excellent attention to detail Proficient in English Qualified candidates should possess the following technical skills: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in LAN/WAN environments with responsibility for managing integration teams Experience is resource management and development Technical Knowledge and Experience in the following areas Cisco Infrastructure Wireless experience/knowledge A thorough understanding of network infrastructure and protocols (e.g.

TCP/IP, IPX,) Knowledge of VLAN structures and configuration backup General knowledge of content delivery proxy servers Desktop OS, NOS and application support experience The position is based in Hauppauge, LI and will require moderate travel into the five boroughs of New York City.
