The individual will plan, organize and execute the work flow of the office.
Primary responsibilities will include: Create and maintain content for the Intercollegiate Athletics Department website.
Act as primary contact to all media.
Produce timely press releases and score reporting, game/athlete stories, game programs, media guides and promotional pieces.
Develop and maintain team and individual statistical records and oversee exchange of information with conference offices, sport websites and the NCAA.
Responsible for managing all in-game operations for statistics, score keeping and public address for all home contests.
Recruit, train, and manage student staff and interns.
Develop and execute social media strategies.
Serve as the liaison between the Athletic Department and active campus media organizations.
Responsible for the maintenance of Oswego Athletics historical data including Hall of Fame.
Assist with game-day operations.
Interact effectively and respectfully with coaches, athletes, faculty, staff, students and community members.

Requirements: Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree at time of application.
Previous experience in a collegiate sports information office.
Statistical software experience.
Strong writing and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Must be able to work independently, exercise sound judgement, and manage projects with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with diverse communities.
