Job Purpose: The incumbent will assist the Vice President of Sanctions Filter Management with coordinating resources to accomplish threshold tuning in the Bank’s transaction review platform and comply with regulatory requirements.
Job Responsibilities: Include, but are not limited to: Sanctions Filter Management: Support optimization of rules tuning and existing filter platform to improve effectiveness and efficiency Perform list management functions, including: documenting all changes to inclusion and exclusion lists, ensuring list management procedures addressing standards/expectation of second and third lines of defense and external regulators Participate in workstreams involving machine learning and artificial intelligence implementation within SFM function Coordinate development of sanctions rules for optimal OFAC filter platform Function Management: Develop and deliver Fircosoft trainings across bank, build relationships with stakeholders Coordinate duties between team members Job Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree is required At least 5 years of experience working in a bank of financial institution in OFAC Knowledge of US banking regulations and compliance practice with strong emphasis on all aspects of BSA, AML, and OFAC Sufficient knowledge of internal control technology capacity and Fircosoft preferred Knowledge of BSA/AML laws and regulations and OFAC requirements ACAMS, IT, or other job-relevant certifications preferred, but not required
