Senior Marketing Manager, Paid Social

New Job Posted on NYC Jobs Board. Senior Marketing Manager, Paid Social

Work remotely or from Venice, CA office For us, data aren’t just numbers; they reflect human behavior.

Becoming an expert in data is also becoming an expert in the human brain.

Yes, success on a paid platform is optimizing toward a low cost per acquisition, but it is also articulating the insights and experiments needed to leapfrog the current campaign for one much better—based on your understanding of the data and the user.

Today, we run campaigns on Facebook.

We identify cohorts that show interest in our probiotics, design ads with messaging about our core product USPs, and then optimize placements and budgets to achieve the lowest CPA.

To us, this is table stakes.

We are building a smarter, more sophisticated media buying system that develops full acquisition funnels—with multiple campaign objectives and potentially data integrations with numerous other user touchpoints.

You’ll work side by side with our Head of Growth to build this.

You’ll obsess over this week’s KPIs (e.g.

CPC, CPM, CTR, CPA, CVR, and ROAS) to deliver better KPIs next week.

You’ll prepare reporting that not only displays the current health of our prospecting vs.

retargeting campaigns, but also the longitudinal insights that indicate needs for a change in strategy.

You’ll construct definable experiments with articulate research questions, hypotheses, methods, and results—all to indicate the scalability of new strategies.

Understanding that performance marketing has a lot of uncontrolled variables and nuance, you’ll still have a defined method to your approach.

Curiously, you’ll immerse yourself in the science of the microbiome, the field of probiotics, and our target communities, so you can better understand the performance tactics needed to connect people’s needs with our USPs.

Who you are: 3 years of related Paid Social experience Previous experience managing $250K-1MM per month through Facebook Ad Manager, including conversion-based and non-conversion-based campaigns Strong experience with Google Marketing Suite: Drive, Spreadsheets, Docs, Analytics, Data Studio Knowledge of Google Ads, SEO, native ads, paid and earned press, and email and their relationship to paid social campaigns in the larger acquisition funnel Experience with other platforms: Pinterest, Reddit, Twitter, LinkedIn, Quora, YouTube, TikTok, WeChat or other scalable social platforms Crystal clear written/verbal communication and data visualization skills (aka you make the right graphs to analyze and explain insights in the data) Deep expertise in identifying USPs and cohorts and working closely with copy, design and developers to build out funnels Meaningful network of vetted vendors and partners Specific attention to detail and proficient execution on all assigned (and self-directed) tasks
